A short bio

“I’m a 35 years old French dude, with a beard. I live in Toulouse (France) since 5 years. I used to live in Brussel (Belgium), and before, in Bordeaux (France). For the moment, I don’t want to be somewhere else. But some vacations in a nordic country, or in Asia would be nice.

I have a PhD in physiocardiopathology, and after a short detour in diabetology, followed by another 4 years in cardiology, I finished by working in Java engineering... And when I want to escape from work, I take a camera, some ideas in my head, and go shooting.

I have started photography 10 years ago and since, I still have fun when I shoot, alone or with friends.
I’m doing both analogic and numeric pictures but for the moment, it's more like 98% numeric and 2% analogic. I’m using full frame (Canon for both) and medium format (Mamiya for analogic).
I prefer to use primer lenses, for creativity (Canon 200mm F1.8, Sigma 150mm F2.8, Mamiya 150mm F4.5, Canon 135mm F2, Canon 85mm 1.2, Mamiya 70mm F2.8, Sigma 50mm F1.4, Zenitar 16mm F2.8) and I also use a Canon 16-35mm and Canon 24-105mm for landscapes or architecture shots.”
